At the age of 9, Jordan decided to become a vegetarian and remained vegetarian for 20 years. She learned at an early age, what foods worked with her body and worked hard to maintain a healthy diet as a competitive swimmer. Jordan continued her vegetarian diet throughout college while maintaining an intense swimming career. Her passion for acknowledging what works for our individual bodies drives her day to day eating as well as her desire to help others find their optimal nutrition. After being vegan for 3 years, she sought out a nutrition coach to work with her to build strength and work on body recomposition after two children. During the last year of working with a nutritionist, the student in her decided to broaden her education and became a Sports Nutrition Specialist through the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association. She enjoys working with varied clientele, whether they be athletes or someone just looking to increase their own nutrition knowledge and lead a healthier lifestyle.
